Hi, i'm building a new pc and i can't decide what motherboard to get.I will be using a ryzen 5 2600 (i want to overclock it decently to at least 3.9ghz) with 16gb ram at 3200mhz (do you think it's worth getting 3600mhz).The aorus mb costs 85$ the msi 100$ and the asrock 92$.I really think i should get the aorus one becuse of the features, looks and price but i don't know if gigabyte is trustworthy when it comes to motherboards.Some people in reviews say the had trouble enabling xmp and getting their ram to run at high speeds but again some people don't really understand how these things really work.I like it because it has a really beefy power delivery for the cpu with loads of vrms.What do you think?Do you suggest something completely different?Thanks in advance!!!

If I was building a system right now I'd be looking at a B550 board. The B450 boards will support Zen 3 with bios update if you want to upgrade from the 2600 CPU later, but they don't have PCIe 4. If this doesn't matter to you a B450 board is fine. You already know about the importance of the boards VRM so I'll leave the choice of Brand/model to you.

If you want to look at B550 boards, this spreadsheet can help you with VRM's and other details.

For me if i was looking at a b450 I would get the tomahawk max as it has bios flashback.

I will leave any other recommendations of b550's to the others as I haven't read any of the reviews to base any kind of an opinion.

As to the 3600mhz you can But you will have Lots of fun getting it to run
@3600 mhz.
The 2000 series cpu's mem controller is rated for 2933mhz. 3200mhz on a 2600 is no problem.
3200 cl14 is almost as good as 3600 cl16.

I started on a x470 with a 2600x and G.skill Flare x 3200 cl14 14 14 34.
I knew i was going to upgrade to a 3600x and purchased G.skill trident z royal gold 3600 cl16 16 16 36 that was on my QVL.
It took hrs of figuring out what settings to run and hrs of testing for stability so if you go that route just be prepared.

When I did buy the 3600x I took the 2600x and put it on a Msi b450 pro carbon with the g.gskill flare x I started with for my son's upgrade.
His system now has a 3600 with the same ram and a Gtx 1060 6gb and having No issues running his Minecraft or his friend playing fortnight on his system.
