Eurocom has almost the same model with a 860M for $1150. and yes it comes with the 3K panel. it's just not as thin, but for 1 grand savings, totally worth it.

That's the thing, because it is not as thin, the premium is lower. To make it this thin, a lot of engineering has to be put into it to make sure it is as efficient as the Eurocom one.

Could you or anyone with more info elaborate? I've heard another who had hands-on time with the X3 say there are some parts made of aluminum. Any idea?

The 3k display on laptop is stupid. If I have to lower my graphic setting to get a playable frame rate, I better get a console.

Almost the same model? It's thicker and the GPU is weaker.

You can play older games at 3K no problem and it'll be good for 4K movies
