Hello,

I have a Aorus Xtreme 3090. It gets very loud and very hot in some games - when there is high load.

I played Sons of the Forest for about 20 minutes at max settings.

Max GPU temperature - 82 degrees C
Max Hot Spot temperature - 104 degrees C
Max Memory temperature - 86 degrees C

Can I RMA the card? It is in warranty, or is my reasoning not enough for them to send me a new card.

Also - silly question but is their term "Repair or replace for same or better performance" accurate?

What should I do?

Thanks,

Tom

I am using a Corsair Crystal 570x case - I am aware it is bad airflow (i actually sort of despise this case)
I have 3 fans at the front, a 360mm radiator for my aio is mounted here.
Two 120mm fans at the top are also intake - i read somewhere this could help? I haven't noticed much of a difference
One 120mm fan at the back, exhaust.

These fans are pretty bad relatively cheap corsair DC fans.

GPU is not vertically mounted.

Side panels and front and top panels are taken off the case to try to improve airflow / temps

I can flip the top fans back around and see if that changes anything. Undervolting I haven't delved too deep into but limiting power limit on afterburner and lowering core and memory clock did not change anything really. It is not brand new, It was purchased in 2021 I believe
