Why an X58 chipset motherboard at this point in time?

Which LGA1366 socket CPU are you intending to use?

Is your primary use gaming or something else?

I am not upgrading to the new cpu because the next one I'm buying is the Intel 980X. I have the Intel 920 Bloomfield right now. Primary reason would be for gaming of course.
