Hi Folks,

Currently I am having trouble attempting to connect my Hard Drive

'Crucial BX200 2.5" 480GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT480BX200SSD1'

To the motherboard of

'GIGABYTE GA-B150M-D3H (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel B150 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard'

I've used newly provided SATA Cables (Cycled through 3 different ones), tested 6 different Power Supply Ports (2 Cables x 3 adapters associated to each cable).

I have also tried ports 0, 1, 5, and 6 (SATA Ports on the Motherboard).

I am also using CPU:

Intel Core i7-6700 8M Skylake Quad-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 1151 65W BX80662I76700 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530

I am unable to locate the SSD in the Bios and when refreshing and trying to install via flashdrive (Windows 10 Home Edition), no storage unit is found.

For the sake of my sanity, I was able to attach the SSD back to my old set-up and it was able to find the drive just fine.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I feel like I am overlooking something really stupid.

Thanks

Hey there, Sean_58.

Perhaps this is some sort of incompatibility issue. Try updating the SSD's firmware (when connected to your old system) if you have available updates for this model and try again. You should also try updating/resetting your BIOS/UEFI, to see if that fixes things up. Also make sure that you have the latest chipset drivers for your mobo.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how it goes.
