I'm confused choosing between Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro vs MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX II

I'm paring the MOBO with following components,
PSU:
Corsair CV550 SMPS - 550 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certification PSU With Active PFC

CPU:
AMD RYZEN 5 3400G

RAM:
Corsair Vengeance lpx 2x8gb ddr4 3200mhz = 16GB

I will be upgrading to 5000 series in future and possibilities of overclocking too.

Tomahawk Max is a newer board with a bigger BIOS cache and better VRM cooling. I would pick the MSI.

That PSU is not good if you are planning to add a GPU in future. I would look for a better variant...

No, you missed the point. A low quality unit has a higher probability of failure on higher loads, irrespective of the output. Ditch the CV and get a CX/CXM/TXM.
