Hey there! I've just completed my new rig (intended for work and ... gaming -- for my work I use Apple's Thunderbolt 27" Displays since years and I'm still very happy with them. To keep them I decided to go with the Gigabyte Vision D, which offers two certified Thunderbolt 3 ports.
A few hours ago I tried to power everything up, but the displays won't turn on (they work fine when powered by my old macbook).
The setup:
DP1.4 from GPU to MB (DP In), TB 3 - TB 2 Apple Dongle from USB-C(TB3) to TB 2 Display.
What I've tried:
BIOS, Chipset, Thunderbolt drivers are all up to date. The cables are plugged in (redid everything multiple times).
Started the system with plugged in monitors, booted without monitors and plugged them in later. Still no luck.
I've changed the BIOS settings for the thunderbolt connection to no security, disabled/enabled it, ...
The Thunderbolt Software shows no devices.
Does anyone know any possible solution? :[
PC:
Win 10 x64
Gigabyte Vision D B550
AMD Ryzen 9 5900x
RTX 3080 FE
Trident Z Ram
Thanks in advance, I'm really frustrated by now.
