i received a 1 x i5 Haswell Value bundle from creative computing in Glasgow ,online.took box to my local pc shop.the ram was not what I ordered, but I thought what the hell they must have run out.I get a call from the pc tech 2 hours later too tell me he has noticed bent pins on the board.I have had to pay for hes time.he also sent me a picture of said damage. My question is where do I go from here.I am trying to upload picture the tech guy sent.

you should have checked beforehand on giving it to someone and made sure there were no bents pins. Now it's your word against theirs.

In my experience, 99.9% of bent pins are user error and don't come that way. They are inspected all along the way. The PC place in town that I go to for parts sometimes, even opens up the motherboard box as you're buying it and show you their are no bent pins before you leave the store, because they got so many back from people bending them, then saying, it came that way.

I have a pc guy in a shop for this reason you have quoted.I wouldn't know what I was looking for,tbh .When this guy sends me a picture and rings me up sayin boards got bent pins,so he will not be attemting install of cpu. Then and only then alarm bells start ringing,The pc tech I use is a family friend tbh,and has done lots of work for me and others in the past.

I have spoken to creative solutions Glasgow,i must say coms was very good ,they have looked at motherboard and decided to courier me another motherboard ,first class service the manager gave me,i will be using them again.
