[SOLVED] gigabyte bios update for 3600xt

I currently have a x570 i aorus pro wifi motherboard and am toying around with the idea of upgrading my cpu to the new 3600xt, I currently have the F11 BIOS and I know the F20b BIOS is designed for enhancing the xt series cpu's but is it something you MUST do if you fit an xt processer or will it work on the current BIOS?

What CPU are you using now? Yes, a bios update is necessary, to use that CPU with that board. You will have to do the Bios update first.

I currently have the 3400G but I have a asus rog strix rx570 gpu. Im not a massive gamer but am trying to decide between the 3600,3600x,3600xt as im building my son a system using my 3400G.

I have not seen the reviews, for the new xt cpu's yet, so I cannot say if they are worth the added cost. Given your GPU, though, the non xt 3600 is plenty.
