Hello guys. I need your help.

I'm trying to install a new (2nd hand) GPU (I recently purchased in an online store with good ratings ) into my system but the PC doesn't seem to boot.
Here are my specifications:
i3 8100
Gigabyte H310m Ds2
Thermaltake 550w Litepower
Gskrill Ripjaws 8gb 2400mhz
Palit Gtx 1050 Ti
Now, I'm trying to install a PowerColor Rx 580 4GB but when the system is booting up, it's giving a 5 short beep. No display on the monitor, although the monitor is just connected via VGA to the motherboard. (I currently do not have a DVI cable for the GPU)
When I remove the GPU, solely the motherboard, works fine, or having to plug the Gtx 1050 Ti back via HDMI, works normally.

Could it be a bad GPU? Is the wattage too low? I've also checked that 5 short beeps for a Gigabyte motherboard mean CPU error.
