Question Gigabyte Designare 128GB?

I am considering this MB with an i9-9900K CPU. The MB specifications state 128GB capacity with 32GB DIMMs, but the memory support list does not list any 32GB DIMMs. I was considering Corsair DDR4-2666 32GB DIMMS. Should these be ok? Any other suggestions?

Yes, they should work.

Why are you wanting 128gb ram? Most tasks will work fine with 16gb.

Memory compatibility is mostly luck.

Luck is rarely on my side. 😀 I will probably reduce this to 64GB and go with memory on the list. I often run multiple Windows servers for SQL, Exchange, SharePoint. etc. using VMWorkstation. I have 24GB now, but can only run one server and one Windows 10 client, or run two servers and no client... Then there are the large sample libraries and VST3 plugins.

Most consumer DDR4 modules can have a maximum capacity of 16 GB per module.

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Use of multiple modules sold as Single modules or multiple Kits have no guarantee to be compatible together.
