Hey oh :0
My friend just bought a new mobo "A520M DS3H Gigabyte" and a pair of "D20 XPG Gammix 3200mhz" no problem, right? So when we start the pc the two memories runs at 2666mhz (i think its normal 'cause we need to enable XMP) when we enable XMP 3200mhz instead of the memory going up to 3200mhz it just drops down to 2400mhz, :nomouth: we tested the two memories at slots A2B2(also A1B1 instable :0) and 2400mhz when XMP enabled, tested with a single memory in A1(did it with the two memories) and the same thing 2666mhz without XMP and 2400mhz with XMP what's wrong? maybe we are missing any necessary option? Also for curiosity or maybe idea of what could be, the "memmory clock mutiplier" option in bios show only up to 24x, and 2400mhz is the frequency when we enable XMP as i stated before.
Ah, he don't have a near friend that uses DDR4 for a test and i think it would be very strange the 2 memories with the exact same problem(as we tested the XMP with single sticks).

Specs:
Cpu: Ryzen 5 5600g
Mobo: Gigabyte A520M DS3H
*No Graphics card
Memory: 2x XPG D20 8GB 3200mhz

Another question: the Channel # the information is correct? in web all things i see is "single" or "Dual", on my pc it shows "single" (i only have a 8gb stick, he bought two) for he it shows "2 x 64-bit" and the timmings are a little too strange, no?

I can post images i need just to wait for him to get home so we can print the bios pages 🙏

Sorry for my english and thanks in advance :)

(XMP profile 1 3200mhz enabled)

(Memmory multiplies capped at 24x)

If you guys need anything more, please tell me

Edit 2: for a momment i thinked that maybe the problem was XMP not setting more voltage for the memmory and apparently it's ok

Edit 3: (Again we just set the memory voltage to 1.35v and xmp 3200mhz [maybe it could be the mobo not increasing the voltage] and it still dumps the memory frequency down to 2400mhz)

Is this ram 2 separate sticks or a kit of 2 sticks?

You also need to update the bios.
Your on f10 the correct level is f13 min.

Make sure ram is on slot A2 and B2 (or slot 2 and 4), and please update the bios to version F13. Just dont update above it since agesa 1.2.0.4 and above have some bugs even if the bios is release bios.

After you updated to F13, then you could try load default, then enable XMP, set the Dram freq at 3200 and voltage at 1.36v.

Could you also please give a Zentimings read and Thaiphoon burner read and post it here after success/changed the voltage and freq?

Also please install the chipset driver on your mobo web page, should be version 3.10.22

I think it is 2 separate sticks, but they are the same
About the BIOS version i didn't notice it was F10 since when i saw the cpu support page for this mobo it was written "support for 5600g since bios version F13" isn't it wrong? how is the pc going on while the actual bios version didn't even supports his processor :|
Am i getting something wrong :?

Thank you for the reply :)

Did you solve it? I have the same problem, for some reason my RAM(Kingston Fury Beast 2x8gb 3200Mhz) works only on 3000Mhz, as i try to start them on 3200Mhz PCjust restart a few times and then it goes back on 2400 Mhz. I use slot A1 and B1, whats the problem?
