I got this motherboard for an HTPC / gaming PC, but realized after I got it that it only "supports" DDR 800 memory, even though it has a wealth of overclocking features.

I got the Crucial Ballistix RAM from this article: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ddr2-ram-memory,2079-6.html

Even if I increase the RAM voltage to 2.0 V or 2.1 V, it won't boot with timings any better than 5-5-5-18. But I know this RAM can do 4-4-4-10 or even 4-3-4-10 @ DDR 800.

Is there a setting I should tweak like system voltage to boot with better memory timings, or is there no way to get better timings with this motherboard?

Thanks for any help!

Not sure how you "know" the RAM can do better, as all modules are different, and the review is almost 3 months old, meaning that those modules are different from the ones you can buy now (even under the same model number).
Fortunately, it doesn't matter. You won't see any noticeable change in performance with the different timings, and DDR2-1066 wouldn't make any noticeable difference either.
