Gigabyte EasyTune6 says uninstall easy tune6

I have been trying to install Easy Tune6 but I keep getting this message "uninstall Easy Tune6"

It's already installed to replace it you'll need to remove the old one
it 's on the CD that come s with gigabyte boards

Check your system tray for eaytune6 Icon
Easytune6 is a little tricky. When you click on The program (shortcut on desktop) it normally does not open but installs in the system tray (Right hand side). And you then have to click on the icon in the system tray.

For Re-installing/upgrading
.. as stated if installed, try uninstalling from control panel, remove program. Reboot, then run a registry cleaner such as CCleaner. Then try re-installing.

I have tried cleaning the registry and that did not work, and I do not have it in the control panel or the system tray

I'd like to thank AnonyOnche who wrote his answer in French. Go to regedit and delete this file:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GIGABYTE\EasyTune 6

Then install, at first got an error saying can't create file, clicked okay a couple of times and it installed.
