Gigabyte error 55

If it won't post then you can't adjust anything. Even if I use lower ram no matter what so I get error 55 I rechecked the seating of my chip I'm using I 7700 and the chip is seated right the ram is new I've got two different kinds of ram 2400 and 2133 persistent error 55 .

If I don't figure this out soon will switch to Asus

I suggest switching to a Z270 board. The 170 does need a BIOS update for supporting the Kaby and you'd need a Skylake for that.
