Hey guys, i just moved all my hardware in a new case and i accidentally forgot to move the metal back panel of my motherboard from my old case. Shall i put it on by removing the motherboard again or shall i leave it without this panel. Is it that important to have it on?
Thank you in advance.

Its main purpose is to dampen any ESD as you plug in and unplug cables at the IO ports. You can leave it off if you can remember to touch the metal case before you get your fingers near the IO ports. But if you have access to the old IO shield, remove the board and put it on.
