my 980 ti has the feature where the fans don't turn on till a certain temp. does anyone know what that temp is suppose to be? I got it up to around 58 maybe 59 or 60 and the fans did not kick on. I guess I can run a benchmark and see if they turn on with a higher temp. the card I have is a gigabyte gtx 980 ti extreme gaming edition.

hey everyone the auto fan took over the fan curve I had set the program I'm using is gigabyte extreme gaming engine. so I set it back to auto. I figure maybe because I'm also running msi afterburner only for osd no overclocking or anything else. does anybody here have any idea of what is going on?

all I know is you have to use the 3ed party software to control the fan speed / profile /curve ? then its got to start up along with the card at boot or you have to keep going back and re setting it each and every time through the 3ed party software

I guess if your brave and don't mind the risk maybe look up a bios mod and risk a flash ?
