As the title says im getting a black scrren with a cursor. Im trying to access the bios so that i can boot fron usb. Any help on how to solve would be much appreciated. Thanks
 
Solution
You dont need to access the bios to boot from USB. Leave normal boot device set as the primary device in the bios.

During the startup look for the message at the bottom of the screen thats something like 'Select Boot Device' and press the corresponding F-Key (like F10) that it says to. From the list that pops up you would select the USB boot device (as long as it was detected as a boot device)
