Hello people.
I just registered to the website and I know there are tons of resources on the internet about power supply efficiencies, but I just couldn't make it clear for myself. I am going to buy a second hand GTX 980 soon.
So I know Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 980 is one of the wattage monster cards in 980 models.
So here we go.
I have Zalman ZM600-LX 600W power supply
and the rest of my system
-MSI z170a gaming pro motherboard
-Zalman z1 neo case ( 3x120mm fans)
-i5 6500 with stock cooler on it
-kingston hyperx 2666mhz 8gb RAM (1x8)
-1 Seagate momentus 7200RPM HDD
-1 Intel 330SSD 120gb

On the zalman website it says PSU has %84 efficiency but there is nothing about the bronze, gold, platinum etc..

I am not an overclocker, i will probably not overclock anything but i will be using the PC at least 15 hours per day.
So what do you think about this situation ? Is it perfectly clear that my PSU can handle it ?

600W should be more than enough. Lots of people will try to convince you that you need 750+, but I doubt your power draw will even reach 500. In terms of efficiency, 84% is pretty good. It might not have met with all of the 80 plus standards is all. In my opinion, your PSU can definitely handle it.

thank you :) i was really confused if my psu was enough or not.

that was really informative. Thank you :)
