Which board is overall better quality, Which has the best durability, liking and all of the above in motherboards.

I own the HERO , and it's made by ASUS = Quality.

I own bother versions of the HERO Z87 and Z97.

Z97 is the right choice , you won't be disappointed.

SR-71 called it, I have both Hero's running also - the Formula could be a better choice if going full water cooling (has a built in water bloc), otherwise the Hero is the way to go
