Gigabyte G1 GTX 970 stock, no OC

Since I acquired this gaming card, which I'm fond of, I had random 1-1.5 second freezes every 10-15 minutes in every game I've played ranging from Shadow of Mordor to Battlefield 4 to Insurgency.

My system had no issue whatsoever previously running 2x 7950 OC'd but has issues running with a GTX 970 non-OC? (All drivers were uninstalled, double, triple checked everything).

I'd appreciate any help you guys can give me. I can RMA it if necessary.
(Yes it is in the PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot)

Yes I do, completely nonoperational.

Well I RMA'd it but I did an automatic uninstall with control panel presuming it was enough on both AMD and Intel. Then I uninstalled fully Nvidia and reinstalled. Still had the issue.

If I get the same issue with the new card, I'll try disabling origin in-game.

Will reply when I get it back, thanks for your help.

I have the same issue while playing Metro 2033 & Metro Last Light Redux versions. What I did was disabling the physx and my problem was solved, check that out.
