Gigabyte g1 sniper 3 vs Asus Maximus V

Is the gigabyte g1 sniper 3 any good? I heard it has many problems
I have another board in mind as well, the Asus maximus V mobo


Which one is the best for gaming ? thanks in advance

also stuck between the the same boards can't decide.But were I stay I am getting the gigabyte $20 cheaper.

Which Maximus V are you considering...The Formula, Extreme, or Gene.

For a mini ATX build the Gene is obviously superior, because in many cases it's the only one that's actually compatible. The Maximus V Formula is a toss up with the Gigabyte and the Extreme is Superior.

In terms of value, the Gigabyte wins, by far.

I don't really mind the money I just want to know if I will get hardcore performance from the g1 sniper 3 motherboard

I found something which is in my opinion is better.Msi Z77 mpower big bang. I am going with this mobo and a i5 3570k @ 4.5ghz corsair vengeance 8gb kit and a Msi HD 7970 lighting or 7870 Hawk depending on how much cash I have and a H100 watercooling.

ps. lighting maches the mobo
