Hi everyone,
I have Windows 7 and Windows 8 installed on two separate hard drives.
Windows 7 - WD Blue 1 TB SATA
Windows 8 - Crucial m500 480GB SSD
Here are a couple of scenarios.
If I set the WD Blue HD (Windows 7) as the primary drive in the boot sequence, I can press F12 during startup and choose the SSD drive to boot into Windows 8.
However, if I set the Crucial SSD (Windows 8) as the primary drive and press F12 to boot to the WD HD (Win7), it boots into Windows 8 regardless.
Is this normal behavior? If not, how can I remedy this issue?
Thank you!
