Hello,
I was just wondering out of the two ram products, which one one would be good to purchase. The Kingston - http://www.oyyy.co.uk/product.php/ [...] module-kit, or the G Skills ripjaw - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/240498.

Cheers

I'd go with the G Skills, I've built several systems with them, no DOA, and no failures after years of use...

I've had several failures with Kingston, good luck getting a replacement under their "life time warranty..."

Hey, be sure you have selected the correct RAM type, DDR3 or DDR2... When I double checked on the motherboard given your description I found two of the three used ONLY DDR2. While, the combo uses either, but the board ONLY supports 8Gb total so these would be the ONLY two DIMMS you can use....

Looks like the DDR3 goes into the BLUE slots....

And the DDR2 goes into the WHITE slots.....

Are you running the 64 bit version of your OS (Vista or Win 7)? If Not, only 3.25Gb of your new RAM will be usable, so, save yourself some money and just get the 4Gb (2 x 2Gb) kit instead of the 8 Gb kit....

Right, just wanted to help assure you didn't get the wrong type of RAM...

Per my 1st post G. Skill all the way, I've had great luck with their products....

And, Kingston, has been mostly just trouble, I'd avoid them...
