soo i'm trying to decide on which new motherboard to buy with my pII x2 550 BE and ive narrowed it down to two:

The GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128416

or the GIGABYTE GA-MA790XT-UD4P

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128378

I'm kinda leaning towards the first one, but when i try and research it, i really can't find too much on it, and that kind worries me. Is it a kinda new board or something? any recommendations on which board to get? (im never going to xfire) or just any info on the board would be great

(like whether it can successfully unlock the 2 extra cores) TYVM for the help !

I bought the GA-790XTA-UD4 and I love it. It's a solid board and I have it running with a PII x4 965BE. Fry's had a mega sale with the Phenom II x4 965BE 125W and GA-790XTA-UD4 combo for $199 as an after christmas day special! Kinda hard to pass up considering the proc alone is $199.

I would recommend this board.
