Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 BIOS Upgrade for AM3+?

I have a GA-870A-UD3 motherboard, and was wondering if I could do a BIOS upgrade to support AM3+. Ive seen two different pages on Gigabyte's website, one that says AM3, and one that says AM3+. I currently have Revision 2.2 with the white CPU socket.

No you can't. Just the revision 3.1 is AM 3+.
This is the CPU suport list and there is no AM 3+ CPU-s.
