I want to pair FX-6300 with a GA-880GM-D2H mobo. Will it be supported? I mean the official list does not include the processor but its an AM3+, the same as the FX-6300.

Also what are the differences between the 1.x, 3.1 and 4.0 revisions of this board. Which one will be the best?

Also, I have a Asus R9 270x to pair with these two.

In these places, its said to be supported : http://www.game-debate.com/hardware/index.php?pid=1146&moboList=FX-6300 and also http://www.overclock.net/t/1321363/official-vishera-support-list

Also from overclock.net i see the bios that supports the Vishera is FGb which is available only for rev 3.1 not for rev 4.0. However there is a similar Bios for the rev 4.0 which is F5a which seems not the support Vishera and was released just 2 days before FGb.

So, still I am not clear. :??:

Also need the answer to this, got a 880gm d2h but got no proc. Is fx 6300 good for this mobo? If not, what's the best proc for this MB

I saw its compatibility here:
