Hey guys...

I have been using the motherboard for more than a year. In the past week I noticed I had been having some CPU/GPU lag issues. So I decided to fix it. I thought a full wipe and reinstall of Windows 7 would be a good idea.

I restarted my PC and booted from the Win7 CD. It sat there FOREVER saying loading Windows installation. After about 10-15 minutes I shut my PC off. But when I tried to restart... nothing happened. Everything would power on EXCEPT USB devices. It wouldn't post at all. My monitor was saying it wasn't getting anything. My mouse and keyboard wouldn't power on...

So I reset the CMOS... earlier I noted my CPU had been running hotter than normal... I saw there was a lot of dust in the fan so I clean it out. Still -- NOTHING. Now my computer is just sitting there and I'm writing to you on my Netbook.

So in short...

Was trying to re-install Win7 -- wasn't working. So I restart and BIOS won't post. No power to USB and won't even get anything to monitor.

Anyone? Help?

Once again I have a: GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H

Well, the thing is.. it powers on just fine. CD rom and everything works. No power to USB. All fans spin, things light up, etc...

It did it out of the clear blue sky.
