Guys i am useing this motherbroad like 6-7 year with Pentuim Dual core e5300 and i was thinking to upgrade it. i am put core 2 duo e7500 in and is work ok but on gigabyte site says e7500 isn't support. can some one tell me what to?
Note: If it lists "N/A" is the "Since BIOS Version" column, the CPU is not supported.
That said, I'm surprised you are able to run the E5300 processor on that motherboard. In my opinion, your best bet is to not waste money on a processor that may or may not work. Go with the best (or at least most reasonable) processor the motherboard definitely supports, which would be the Intel Core2Duo E6700 (unless you can find an Intel Core2Extreme X6800 on the cheap).
