gigabyte ga 970 gaming sli, bios update

I was wanting to know how to update the bios on my gigabyte 970 gaming sli motherboard? When I go to their website the only bios is the first release. Is this the only bios version they have ever released? I wanted to update my bios because my fx 8350 has really high voltages and even at defalt settings my fx 8350 gets up to 1.5v in prime95 and even cpuz's built in stress test(which supposedly doesn't stress the cpu enough). If anyone could tell me of another bios version that I could get for my motherboard it would be appreciated.

You can download an app from Gigabyte called @BIOS, it'll check if there is a newer version, It's not recommended to flash the BIOS with @BIOS though.

I'm not very familiar with this bios flashing and stuff so just a few questions. What exactly is bios flashing, how can i do it and what is the risks?

Try lowering the voltages manually. 1.5v is a safe voltage, but that's the highest you'd want it to go. Normally it's voltage hangs around 1.3v.

Flashing BIOS is the art of writing a new BIOS to the BIOS chip, basically lol.

The main risk is bricking your motherboard.

I have tried lowing the voltages manually but it often times becomes unstable and bluescreens. Also I'm trying to oc so and the voltage settings only go up in intervals of .025v and I was looking for a bit more precision than that.
