Having problem with the Gigabyte GA-970-Gaming SLI mbd shutting down when trying to load any operating system. Does not matter - Window 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, even Ubuntu. Tried install using DVD and USB. Have used both UEFI and Legacy settings. The Gigabyte GA-970-Gaming SLI mbd just shuts down when OS starts the install - makes no sense. Memtest ran 4 hours with no problem (32GB DDR3 4 x 8GB). Have tried all combinations of different RAM, PSU, video cards, hard drive, SSD. Nothing makes any difference - end result is same. Is there an undocumented setting or something ?? Does the BIOS need to be updated ?? Is this a faulty MBD ?? Thank you in advance for any hints or suggestions.
Hardware Configuration
MDB: Gigabyte GA-970-Gaming SLI (BIOS: F1)
CPU : AMD FX 8350
RAM : 32GB Crucial Ballistic (4 x 8GB)
Video : MSI P7 250 2GD3 (MS-V301)
PSU : Corsair 650W

After no response from Gigabyte support, I finally returned this "faulty" motherboard to where we bought it, and try to get an ASUS or MSI motherboard that will work.
