GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P Low Profile RAM?

Hello all have a quick question. I have a GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P and looking for descent (not too expensive) low profile RAM that would be compatible. Any recommendations as I checked the supported memory list on the Gigabyte website and I think it's pretty dated.

I was looking at these 2 for possibilities but open for suggestions. Just looking for 2x4GB DIMM's, DDR3 1600.

Normally I would just go with what I want but I had a pair of Patriot DIMM's that apparently aren't supported by this board, that and I have a aftermarket cooler that covers the DIMM closest to the CPU so will need low profile RAM.

I appreciate any and all help.

RAMs are usually compatible even if it's not on the supported list since they don't have the time to test out every single RAM. I suspect that it was just bad luck. I would just go with the cheaper one out of the two since both are already low-profile.

Get the Gskill , it's compatible with your board and 1600mhz is perfect.
