Hi..
I am able to oc my AMD FX-6300 stable up to 4.2ghz (over 9hrs Prime95). One thing I have noticed is that I am unable to change the NB Frequency from the stock 2000MHZ.. If I go any higher, it doesn't matter if it's 2050mhz, the USB 3.0 ports will stop working..even if I increase the vcore on the NB.. I have tried 1.2 all the way to 1.4v...nothing.

I have contacted Gigabyte and they said this is because there is a CPU Limitation that does not accept anything over the stock 2000mhz..is this normal or do I maybe have a faulty mobo? Has anyone noticed this on this board?

Hey magdiel. I've got the same mobo but with a FX 8350. I just looked into my stock BIOS settings and noticed that my CPU Northbridge Frequency is set to 2200Mhz. so it may be the 6300 that is the limiting factor as Gigabyte suggested.
