Ok soo I ordered fx 8320 and I want oc it like mad I had gigabyte before 970-ds3p but badd at oc voltage throttle like bad soo what board should I buy help

if you had waited two weeks you'd probably be able to pick up a new, definitely way better AMD cpu for around the same price. i find it crazy buying a 8320 right now.

i say send that 8320 back and wait for ryzen to release. the 4 core ryzen cpus will most likely be miles ahead of the 8 core 8320 in performance.

It makes no sense to get an FX system today, or for the last year. You are buying weak and old tech on a dead platform.

As dangus stated, return and wait. You'll have a much better picture of what's available, and you won't be stuck on the FX system.

Either of those should work fine the 970 chipset don't overclock well because most of the boards have cooling issues.

yeah well doesn't hurt to wait and see. plus there's plenty of legit looking leaked information that does back that up
