Hi, I've been having rather strange issues with my recent computer upgrade which consisted of getting a new motherboard, RAM, and CPU.
Motherboard:
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3
RAM:
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
CPU:
AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor FD8350FRHKBOX
The main issues I have been having lately are related to simply waking up my system from sleep mode.
My system ( OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit) Seems to function just fine, I've had no weird crashes or issues booting up. If I put the system to sleep however, there are times where the computer will start beeping...a lot, and then after the beeps (probably somewhere around 16 to 20 of them), it's back to running normally.
There are also times where I need to wake the system up by turning off the power supply switch, turning it back on, then hitting the power button on my system, and it's usually a rather slow wake up, probably takes about 10 minutes for the system to be back up and running to full power.
The most I've done is tried updating the BIOS (to version FC) for the board from the Gigabyte Site, but it didn't really do much.
I'm guessing there are either some configurations I need to adjust (since I haven't really adjusted any), and if not that, could it be a conflict other hardware, or perhaps I misplaced a wire somewhere when putting the system together?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've had the system for about 3 weeks now, but this problem kinda bugs me, and makes me wonder if I have things set up properly.
