Hi,

Everything is in working order in my system and it's fine but the msot annoying thiong is when I turn on my PC it turns on for a slight second (all the leds and fans come on as well as the gpu) then turns off and after 3-5 seconds turns on again. This has really begun to irritate me and if anyone can help me I will buy them a game on steam under $10. Thanks

http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/gaming-v-sm-series/v450s/ it's this one. I thought it was good since it had 80+ gold and 36a on the single 12v rail

When you said it was a low quality PSU I was thinking why the hell didn't I research before blowing $200 on a PSU. Thanks for the relief

Was planning on going for a 550W Corsair but the store I was buying from ran out and I had to purchase this instead. Do you know any other thing that might be causing the weird power on.

Think it may still be the PSU, for most rigs like yours (8320 and a 270X) I normally recommend at least a 500 Watt, yours is a 450 and since CoolerMaster normally advertises Peak power would guess it more like 'maybe' 425 continuous, also the Toxic draw a little more than normal, something may be just a tad starved at startup, often the DRAM, may try raising the DRAM voltage + 0.06 and the CPU/NB voltgae to about 1.25 and see if that helps

I restarted to optimized defaults and it works like a charm. Now when I turn off Core Performance Boost it does the same thing again. If you are an overclocker can you please try to explain why this is happening and how to avoid it. I experimented for a few hours with every other combination but this only starts happening as soon as Core Performance Boost is disabled.

Here we go,same problem with fx 8320 and same mobo, try disable all energy savings,CnQ,c6 and that stuff, next turbo core off (set manually multiplier),disable apm (some danger here if you overclock high!check temps to be safe) and was setting manual vcore to 1.35000v,none of them worked for me,and finally set off xmp profiles and the double-boot was over leaving normal boot to 8320@4.0ghz(20x multiplier) almost fine (all leds keep lit from start, graphic fans keep running, but cpu fan makes 1-2 false trys to boot-up,perhaps the pwm starts to low and i must tune the pwm slope options in bios)

I dont know if it was one thing or the sum all of them, good luck :D
