Question Gigabyte ga b150m d3h mobo supported processors

I have gigabyte ga b150m d3h mobo with lga 1151 socket. Officically they said it supports 6th and 7th gen intel processors. I bought it 3 4 years ago. Tell me can i use 9th gen i5 9400 processor that has lga 1151 socket or i have to use 7th gen processor.
