Question Gigabyte GA-H110m-DS2 blown mosfet

Hi everyone.

I have a motherboard that does not start up. When I plug in the 24 pin ATX cable the fan spins for a second and then shuts off and spins again. As soon as I plug in the 4 four CPU plug it shuts down completely. I have isolated the blown mosfet and was wondering if anyone knows where I could find a replacement.

I've also come across a reddit thread where someone claims to have removed a mosfet without any consequence. Would this work?

I'd like to know how. From what I can see of the picture, the chip surface with the marking is just a little harder to read, maybe because of light conditions?

I've tested it with a multimeter.

How did you determine that the chip in fact are a cmos and that the chip are the only component being defect? If you're skilled enough to figure out that, you should also know the question about removing one chip.
