Hi! I would like to know wich would be the best graphic card option for my Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L (rev. 2.0) motherboard. I currently have the N9400GT-MD512H and have been looking for an upgrade since I use my pc mostly for video rendering and RAW photos editing.

Thank you so much in advance!

Thank you so much for answering! 😀

My limit budget is around $200 dollars for a video card, maybe more if necessary.

Also I don't know if I should spend that money in a better video card or in a full set of RAM, my currently set is conformed by 2 ADATA 2Gb sticks and 1 Kigston one so I guess it shoul be better to have all of them from Kingston. I have 6Gb by now and my motherboard seems to support 8Gb.

What would be best?

Again thank you for your help :)

No Problem :)

So anyway, 6GB ram is alright at the moment, for gaming either 6GB or 8GB is fine, there's no point spending all your money on memory as your not going to see a performance leap, that is decided by what video card you have ;p

Recommendations:

Nvidia GTX 660 (non ti)
HERE
$189.99

Has 960 CUDA cores so would be great for Video Rendering and Photo Editing

Nvidia GTX 760
HERE
$249.99

Although over your budget it is a great card and will enable you to not only Render videos and edit photos but also allow you to game at High to Ultra settings with no lag whatsoever in many of the new titles coming out

1152 CUDA Cores (Fantastic) 😛

Nvidia GTX 650Ti Boost
HERE
$169.99

Great price and is under $200, allows you to render videos fast and enables you to play games at high to ultra settings at 1080p

768 CUDA Cores (Quite a lot 😛)

You may have noticed that all of the cards are from Nvidia, I just like Nvidia 😀

Glossary:
CUDA Cores
The more of these the fast renders will be and rendering out images 😀
