Hi, i recently bought 2 used parts on Ebay and i'm trying to figure out what the issue is while building my pc, perhaps you pro's here know what the issue could be.
The motherboard keeps beeping when there is a ramstick inserted, when i don't insert any ram it's silent, everything else was removed, only SATA SSD, CPU&cooler+ power and motherboard power, RAM where in the motherboard when it was beeping. While testing i used 1 or 2 ram sticks, 2 different variations 8Gb and 16Gb(pictures below).
Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-x79-ud3 v1.0
CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2603 (picture below)
I also purchased an so i could see if its a cpu issue. The Intel i7 3820 i bought also gave me the same beeping.
I'm at a loss of what it can be, the PSU is brand new, i ordered a brand new psu(again) to see if that's the issue.
Here is some info i found about the CPUs its somewhat chinese to me.

Here is an article i found with somewhat the same issue, saying the board needs 2nd cable?(i assume he means 1 for motherboard power and 1 for cpu)
