I really need help choosing right CPU cooler for my motherboard.

This is my future rig:
motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X99-UD4
CPU: Intel 2011 i7-5820K 3.3 GHz - 3.6 GHz
RAM: G.Skill 64GB (8x8GB) 2133MHz DDR4
GPU: Geforce GTX 980 4 GB or GTX 980 Ti 6 GB (haven't made my choice yet)

There is only 4 coolers I can choose from:
Noctua NH-D15
Noctua NH-L9x65
Noctua NH-U12S
Noctua NH-U14S
Initially I was going to go for NH-D15. But after reading some forums I am a bit confused. Some say it's blocking PCI. Others say it's blocking RAM. My guess is it depends on the motherboard.
I am planning to use my comp for gaming and rendering. But I am not gonna do any overclocking.
So my question is. Which of those coolers (listed above) that DO NOT block RAM and PCI slots would you recommend?

Solution
So long as your case fits the height of the nh-u14s that's the one I'd go with. The nh-d15 will hang over both sets of ram slots and you may have to fiddle with the fan mount to gain enough clearance over top of your ram. The nh-u14s fan squeaks by but manages to fit just next to the ram even when it's in the first slot. If the cooler causes too tight of clearance to the gpu when you put it in the top pcie slot you can just move the gpu down to the next pcie slot. That motherboard has 4 of them. That will give you plenty of clearance.

Here's a pic of the nh-u14s on an x99 board showing how it fits with the ram slots. (fairly large hi-res pic)

Solution

I am currently looking at computer cases, so I have not yet chosen. For now I am trying to choose the parts I need (and what I can afford) later I chose the case that can fit those parts. So cooler size shouldn't be a problem.
Judging from the image it looks like it's will fit right in, however to be completely sure, I have to ask. Do all x99 motherboards have the same space between CPU and RAM?...Sorry if it's a stupid question, it is my first build.
Also will I get performance drop from my video card if I place it to a second slot?
