Hello guys,

Once again i have a question regarding my new motherboard, the GA-Z170-HD3P.
It's regarding the memory sockets.
So i've read the motherboard manual and a lot of confusion has come up.
I have 2 8GB Kingston Hyperx Fury Memory Modules and I want them to work in dual channel mode.
First of all i know that you are supposed to put your memory modules in 1,3 or 2,4 sockets if you only have 2 modules, these sockets will have the same colour (atleast on most motherboards).

The problem I have is the following:
In the Manual there is a picture showing the motherboard with the number of the sockets and the same thing is show on the motherboard itself with little notations.

The 2,4 and the 1,3 socket are next to each other, so it's like 2413 instead of 1234.
Another thing that confuses me is that 2 and 4 should have the same colour, but they don't? So what should i do? Follow the colours or follow the notations on the motherboard and the manual that say that 2,4 are right next to eachother and do not have the same colour?

That is the link to the picture of the motherboard, if you zoom in you can see the notation of the sockets.

One other thing that confuses me is the this, it says the following in the manual
Channel A: DDR4_2, DDR4_4
Channel B: DDR4_1, DDR4_3

So to have Dual Channel shouldn't I be using DDR4_2 and DDR4_1, so i utilize both Channel A and B? It would make sense regarding the colour-scheme but not regarding the numbers.
Also it says the following at the end of that section:

"When enabling Dual Channel mode with two or four memory modules, it is recommended that memory
of the same capacity, brand, speed, and chips be used and installed in the same colored sockets."

So if someone could clarify this for me that would be really great!

Thanks in advance!
