Hi my Board is the Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev 1.3 and the latest Bios on the manufactures website is the mb_bios_ga-z68x-ud3h-b3_u1l but tit keeps telling me when I use the App that its not compatible with my OS Win 7 64bit why?
Can Anyone help me solve this current bios F12...
PLEASE I really need Help updating from legacy to UEFI!!

I had a different board in that series and the update procedure is different when changing over to the newer UEFI BIOS. As far as I remember I had to create a bootable usb flash drive (the BIOS I downloaded had the BIOS along with the flashing prg and an autoexec.bat - something back from DOS days). I'm pretty surer I used the an HP formatting utility for the usb stick as it had the options for installing the relevant DOS files for booting (do a little research for creating DOS bootable USB). The only major bonus is that the posting is a lot faster (and it is nicer for hackintoshing)

download u1L bios from gigabyte and you will have two file in their 7-zip .. one is bios rom and the other is flash tool .. just save them in a bootable usb and enter dos mode to execute flashefi to complete uefi bios flash ..

Hi thanks for your help but I'd just like to know how do I enter DOS Mode?

can you make a bootable usb disk by yourself? If yes, it will boot up to do directly, you need to save your bios, auto.bat file and flashefi.exe in root. It will automatically finish bios flash process.

Thanks guys for the help as I was able to use the HP formatting tool and loaded it with Win 98 along with the Bios file And FlashEFI.EXE file and booting the New UEFI Bois was easy and everything works perfect now. and if there's anyone who needs this help to create a bootable drive in the future then here's the page I used to find the info on doing it. http://www.bay-wolf.com/usbmemstick.htm
