gigabyte ga-z77n-wifi boot loop

Apparently I'm not the only person with this problem.

But I may need help the most

I'm getting a boot loop using the gigabyte ga-z77n-wifi. At first I thought it was a faulty power supply, so I replaced that. Then I thought maybe memory, I had 2 sticks so I've tried each stick in each slot alone, in every permutation, and that didn't help. Then I thought maybe it was a bad motherboard... so I contacted Gigabyte and went through a month long RMA process which resulted in them sending me a new mobo. Put everything back together and the computer worked for about an hour, and then I rebooted and it started the reboot loop again. I took it to a computer shop and the guy said he tried my CPU in a different mobo in a different computer and got the same issue... so he said it was likely a bad CPU... I contacted Intel and they sent me a new one (gotta love 3 year warranties)...

Now... I have a new PSU, "new" mobo from gigabyte, a "new" CPU from intel, and the same old problem. The system will reboot every few seconds, CPU, PSU fans both start, HDD starts spinning, then it shuts off. Rinse repeat. Every once in a while, it will load to a blank "gigabyte dualbios UEFI" screen with no options. Keyboard presses do nothing... then it reboots.

I've tried resetting CMOS by removing battery. I've removed all unnecessary components. I've tried resetting the CPU. I'm running out of ideas.

Help would be greatly appreciated! This has been a 2 month long ordeal now, and I was frustrated about 59 days ago.

It might be that a faulty component damaged the new board too.
Try leaving only CPU and CPU fan installed, both 24 and CPU power cables connected (no other component or cable/wire).
Start the board by shortly touching with a screwdriver the 2 pins on the motherboard corresponding to the case power button. See if the CPU fan does spin without restarting.

Tried this.....CPU fan spins, but also restarts..... Since I posted this, I moved some memory around and tried resetting CMOS again multiple times, and one of the times it loaded into the bios screen that said bios had been reset... with options to load defaults and boot, load defaults and restart, and load bios... I wasn't sure which one to choose so I chose load defaults and restart... whoops.... because it hasn't made it back to that screen again since.

Motherboard, CPU or power supply. Hard to say which one.
And maybe, apart from these, a faulty component, that damages the board... or CPU... or power supply.

I FIXED IT!!!!

I forced the back-up bios to re-flash the primary bios by bypassing the primary bios.. this is how I did it. The reboot-loop was caused by a corrupt primary bios.

1. Shut your PC down
2. Hold the power AND the reset button for about 10 sec, than release.
----The computer fans started spinning, and then shut off... then i released after 10 seconds, and the computer started up automatically
3. Backup BIOS kicked in and took me to a screen that said "The main BIOS is corrupted. The system will be recovered from the Backup BIOS etc..."

After a few minutes, it rebooted and the primary bios loaded up like the day I took it out of the box!

Now I'm up and running again
