Hey guys, I was wondering, for gaming purposes which motherboard would be better, the one linked in my build below, or...

Now purpose is solely for gaming. My friend found this one and we were both wondering. Only difference between both of us is I will be overclocking my CPU and he will not be overclocking his CPU, he will be getting the intel i5-4670.

Definitely go with the GigaByte, I won't touch MSI for builds, poor QC and support....Rest of the rig looks good, if you have it in the budget, might look for a SSD for OS and Apps for overall performance increase

i think they have the same power phase.. only the features different,
Many people says that Gigabyte is better than MSI

Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H hands down, as tradesman1 says.
VRM temperatures on Z87-G45 gaming are unbearable.
It lose by a milestone to the Z87X-D3H, although the Z87X-D3H has a less capable VRM.
