Gigabyte GA-Z97N-WIFI Does it Support Lucid Virtu MVP?

I heard Lucid Virtu is really useful since it makes you use the integrated graphics for general pc use, and lets you switch to your Discreate Video card Graphics when you play a game or any other thing that needs the power.

It's defiantly a nice feature, but only a handful of motherboards support it. Lucid virtu was on pretty much all Sandy Bridge motherboards (lga 1155) but it died extremely fast by ivy bridge.

Go to lucid virtu's website, that will tell you all the motherboards that incorporate this feature. (Since i'm pretty sure it's a hardware feature, not software only.)

thx for the very useful info, yea I went to lucid virtu's website and saw all the motherboards that have the feature, and the GA-Z97N didn't have it which is fine I guess I just wanted to know. oh, and also, can you expand more on what ivy bridge is and what it does? sorry that I am unfamiliar with this, since my planned build is my first one so

Ivy and Sandy bridge are code names for intel's 2nd (sandy) and 3rd (ivy) gen core i series cpus. I just used the code words on the motherboards because only those cpus can fit into them.
