Question Gigabyte GA Z97x-sli

Good Day to All,

I have a Gigabyte GA Z97x-sli mainboard but only 3 of the 4 memory slots are working. All the RAM has been tested and they are 100%. Could the CPU affect this? Also the board does not recognize my 2 MSI GTX550 cards which I would like to run in SLI, yet an ATI card works just fine in either slot... any help would be appreciated.

If 3 of 4 ram work means that the board is the problem not the CPU.

Been watching so many youtube vids...confused...maybe a bent pin, not the CPU itself?
Slots 1&3 together 2&4, right? If the board was at fault would the whole bank then not work?
I can run 12GB, but will not see 16GB.

If it was a CPU problem you would miss one channel or 2 slots.
