I know the K processors can be overclocked, but what I am wanting is when the CPU is idle that it will run the standard 3.5Ghz and when in full use the turbo can kick the CPU to 3.9Ghz.
I'd like to let it flucuate back to 3.5Ghz when in an idle moment, and be ready to go back to 3.9Ghz when in full use, and back and forth and so forth. I cannot seem to find the settings to make that happen. It seems to usually run at 3897Mhz and not really fluctuate back down at all. I'm not fully familiar how to optimize the BIOS to get the best settings I'd like.
Also running a EVGA Nvidia 960 with 16GB RAM Samsung 256GB 840 SSD+4TB WD Black, Cooler Master Hyper T2 compact CPU cooler.
