[SOLVED] Gigabyte GC-TITAN RIDGE

Thinking of getting this mainly for the thunderbolt 3 transfer rates. However I'm not exactly sure what you use the display port for. Might be a stupid question but how does the display port output video when this is just an add in card? What graphics does it use or does the display port have a different use on a card like this?

If you look at the illustration on the product page below you'll see that it has two miniDP input ports, these are connected to an existing GPU with the DP-to-miniDP accessory cables.

Thanks for the reply. I think i get it now so I would plug the DP-to-miniDP from the Titan ridge to a display port on my graphics card and then this would allow me output video using the display port or thunderbolt on the titan ridge.
