Hey Everyone,

I'm looking to pick up a Dell Optiplex 9010 SFF on ebay (link below). I've seen this type of small factor PC be paired with a GTX 1050ti on youtube. Has anyone attempted this kind of upgrade before and which type of 1050ti would be compatible?

Thanks

I have the similar Optiplex 790 SFF (i5-2400) with a Zotac GTX 1050 Ti running in it. Tight fit, but fine. Air flow is just adequate. Sometimes one of the fans (CPU/GPU) gets a little loud because of the small confines of the case, but temps stay within safe ranges.

The 240W Dell PSU with its 17 amp +12V rail is maxed out when stressful gaming, but seems to not be an issue. Dell under-rates their PSUs I think. Keep in mind, you will be doing this at your own risk since the GTX 1050 Ti is (technically) too much card for the PSU. But I've put mine thru some pretty stressful testing with no problems... so far.
